Prefixes of Accessor Properties in VB
Hi, I am a newby on NDO. On taking the tutorial I noticed, that the 'Add Accessor' function puts a P in front of the propertyname. Is there a way to change this behaviour? For me it would make more sense to append something like _P so that intelisense does not list all properties under P but instead let me get the Property trough intelisense by typing the first character(s). Regards: Didi P.S. Habe viele verschiedene Object Mapper getestet. NDO find ich super, weil es vom Objekt her komt und nicht von der Datenbank. Macht weiter so...

Hi Didi,

unfortunately there is no way to influence the behavior of the Add Accessor functionality. But we think about, how we can make the naming conventions of automatially generated properties, columns etc. more adjustable by the developers. For the moment you have to adjust the behavior by Hand. Just add underscores or whatever you want.

Thanks for your comment about NDO. There are a bunch of interesting new features coming with V. 2.0 next year. One of these will be the support for Linq in C# 3.0 and VB 9. We'll publish a feature list at our website in the next time.

Best Regards:
Mirko
