nvarchar(max) in SQL Server 2005
I tried to use nvarchar(max) (MS recommends to use this type instead of ntext) Generating the DDL-Script works fine, but when I try to load data from the DB I get the following exception: NDOSqlProvider.GetDbType: Type name nvarchar(max) can't be converted into a SqlDbType. Any ideas for a work-around? Thanks in advance Michael

Oops, sorry - I didn't think about that as I sent the workaround to you. Let me do a little bit of testing before I come back with an answer to you.

Re: nvarchar(max) in SQL Server 2005

Hi mig,

you can find the solution in this article, posted today. It's a workaround; NDO will support nvarchar(max) out-of-the-box in the next update.
