Modified By varod on 7/24/2006 10:01:30 AM)
Hi evrery body, I try NDO with the community version with the included tutorial. Every works fine until I use this function : pm.BuildDatabase(); I get this error : Request for the permission of type 'System.Data.SqlClient.SqlClientPermission, System.Data, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' failed. I had the permission to the project but i still get this error. I think it's really simple ... please help me !! Vincent. NB : I'm using v1.2 with VS 2005 professional edition

Re: Problem with permission when launching tutorial

Hi Varod,

it seems, as if you don't have the right to drop or create tables. This happens mostly, if you develop an ADO.NET application, which runs under the ASPNET user account (in Windows 2003 the account is NETUSER or something like that). If you use Sql Server Authentication, have a look at the users and privileges in the Sql Server Manager (formerly Enterprise Manager).

Let me know, if this answer helped you.

Regards,
Mirko
